Editorial & Medical Review Policy
Aesthetic Links helps people find trusted aesthetic clinics. This page explains how we research and write our treatment guides, how they are medically reviewed, how we choose the clinics we feature, and how we keep everything up to date.
How we choose clinics
Clinics are listed only after we check that they are licensed to operate and have a consistent track record of genuine patient reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations.
Featured or sponsored placements are labelled clearly so you can always tell them apart from our editorial selection.
Clinic order on treatment pages is based on patient ratings, number of reviews and how relevant the clinic is to the treatment. We remove clinics that no longer meet our standards.
How treatment guides are written
Our guides are written by the Aesthetic Links editorial team using clinic-reported information, manufacturer guidance and peer-reviewed sources. We focus on practical questions: price, how long results last, downtime, risks and how to choose a practitioner.
Prices are typical ranges reported by the clinics we list. They are a guide only; your final price depends on your consultation, the product used and the amount needed.
Medical review
Treatment guides marked "Medically reviewed" have been checked for accuracy by a licensed medical professional. The reviewer's name, credentials and the date of the last review are shown on each page, and each reviewer has a profile page listing the guides they have reviewed.
Reviewers check that medical information is accurate, balanced and up to date. They do not choose or rank clinics.
Keeping content up to date
We review treatment guides at least once a year, and sooner when prices, regulations or medical guidance change. The "last reviewed" date on each page shows when it was last checked.
Corrections and feedback
If you spot something that is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us through the app or website. We review every report and correct errors promptly.
Not medical advice
Content on Aesthetic Links is for general information only and is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified practitioner. Always discuss your goals, medical history and risks with your clinician before any treatment.
